Delano and Braun Consulting Form Strategic Alliance to Bring Intelligence to e-Marketing

Industry-leading Internet Professional Services Firm Enables Delano to Drive Technology Leadership and Set the Standard for Analytical CRM Applications

   TORONTO and CHICAGO, IL---December 19, 2000---Delano Technology Corporation (NASDAQ: DTEC), a leading provider of intelligent interaction- based CRM solutions for the enterprise, and Braun Consulting, Inc. (Nasdaq: BRNC), a leading professional services firm delivering customer-focused business solutions, today announced a strategic alliance to jointly deliver comprehensive customer intelligence solutions.  Under the terms of the strategic relationship, Braun Consulting is also assuming the role of integrator for Delano’s analytic applications for e-marketing and e-service.

The alliance between Delano™ and Braun Consulting will enable the companies to launch solutions that radically improve the efficiency and effectiveness of campaign management initiatives.  Working closely with Delano, Braun has provided project management and consulting services to shape Delano Discovery Marketing™, a flexible and extensible e-marketing application that leverages analytical algorithms to create an organization’s online marketing campaigns and measure its effectiveness.  The upcoming January 2001 launch of Discovery Marketing-which is the first fully integrated product resulting from Delano’s October acquisition of Digital Archaeology-will enable Delano to play a leadership role in the e-mail marketing industry, which according to a recent report released by eMarketer is estimated to be worth US$4.5 billion by 2003.
