Courion delivers Worldwide Password Management automation to GE

Implementation of Courion's PasswordCourier Reduces Help Desk Calls, Improves Employee Productivity, and Tightens Data Security

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. - September 16, 2002- Courion® Corporation, a leading provider of identity management lifecycle solutions, today announced that GE (GE:NYSE) has implemented Courion's PasswordCourier® to enable its employees worldwide to securely reset their own passwords without having to call a help desk agent.

PasswordCourier is currently in use at many of GE's global businesses including Power Systems, Plastics, Aircraft Engines, and Transportation Systems. Help desk calls have already been reduced by several thousand a month. As the rollout continues expanding across most systems and locations, GE expects the number of passwords automatically reset by PasswordCourier to increase to over 10,000 per month.
