Network Learning Masters (Microsoft Solutions Provider and Novell Platinum Partner) chooses Control-F1 for Worldwide eSupport Solution

eSupport solution allows NLM to increase Help Desk Technician Efficiency by 150%

Control-F1, the eSupport software company, today announced that Network Learning Masters (NLM) of Edmonton, Alberta, the award-winning Novell and Microsoft training and solution provider, has chosen Control-F1 to help extend NLM’s business into the United States and Europe. Control-F1’s eSupport software has enabled NLM to increase its help desk productivity by 150%, making it possible for the company to effectively deliver software support and provide remote training solutions to customers all over the world.

Control-F1 is an award-winning eSupport software solution that uses Internet-based communication, diagnostic, system management and collaborative tools to enable support technicians to provide assisted technical support through a web browser.

NLM is using Control-F1 to provide eSupport through a branded eSupport portal.  With Control-F1, NLM is providing technical support to groups as diverse as Georgetown University - Washington D.C; Wagner College – Staten Island, New York; Stamford College – Stamford, U.K.; Eksjo Kommun School – Sweden; Faculty of Law – University of Michigan; Red River College – Winnipeg, Manitoba; Devry College - New Jersey; Helsinki Polytechnic – Finland, and others.

“By adding Control-F1 to the services provided by our group of technology cluster partners, NLM’s customers have access to outstanding solutions provided by like-minded companies,” said Aldo Zanoni, president of NLM. “In using a team of industry-leading partners, we are able to deliver a global support solution. We can now ensure that companies wanting to leverage our Microsoft, Novell and HP partner solutions receive the help they need, no matter where they are located.”

Zanoni adds, “We implemented Control-F1 for two simple reasons: first, through the web, we can provide eSupport services to anywhere in the connected world. The most recent example was the complete remote setup and support of a 4,000-user installation at Devry College in North Brunswick, New Jersey. This implementation wouldn’t have been possible without Control-F1. Second, by using Control-F1, we create a level of support efficiency that we have never before been able to deliver. This software allows a four-person team to deliver the same level of service as a six- or seven-person help desk.”

“We have been working with Aldo Zanoni and NLM for quite some time,” said Veer Gidwaney, CEO Control-F1. “Control-F1 is important to NLM because it allows the company to expand its business and provide cost-effective support to customers all over the world. NLM was an early adopter of the technology.”

“We started out in the technology business as a training company. When NLM became part of the Omni Solutions Group Technology Cluster, we needed to find tools to sustain our competitive advantage. Using leading-edge technology like Control-F1 has made a big difference to our expansion plans,” said Zanoni. “I saw Control-F1 early in its development cycle. I knew that Control-F1, with its ability to remote control a customer’s computer from anywhere in the world, combined with a wide range of diagnostic and system management tools, was the product to support our goals. My customers can continue to be productive while their computer problems are diagnosed and fixed in the background. As a result, support time does not equal downtime. That’s a critical value proposition that Control-F1 gives us the power to deliver.”
