Epicor’s Clientele Solution Wins the “Gold Best in Class” Users Choice Award From Customer Support Magazine and RealMarket ResearchClientele Users Confirm Epicor’s Leadership in Providing World-Class Customer Relationship Management (CRM) SolutionsIRVINE, Calif., November 1, 1999 — Epicor Software Corporation (NASDAQ: EPIC), the largest provider of enterprise business performance software exclusively for midmarket companies, today announced its industry-leading CRM solution, Clientele, won “Gold Best in Class” at The First Annual Users Choice Awards sponsored by Customer Support Management magazine and RealMarket Research. Epicor’s Clientele was awarded top honors in the “Customer Service and Support” category at an awards ceremony held during the Customer Relationship Management Conference and Expo in San Francisco.“We are excited to receive this award for our Clientele CRM solution, especially since it was granted not by a panel of judges, but by our own customers,” said Vince Sheeran, senior vice president of marketing for Epicor. “The award is a testament to our dedication in providing industry-leading sales and marketing automation and customer support solutions to midmarket businesses. Our customers know that Clientele’s comprehensive functionality enables them to get the most from their customer relationships.” The judging for this First Annual Users Choice Awards competition was based solely on customer call-in voting, and represents the only awards program in which customer relationship management products are actually judged by the end-user. Two classes of awards were issued, Gold Best in Class and Best in Class. Gold Awards, which Epicor’s Clientele won, were issued for products or services that scored tops in their category, had widespread voting and had at least three competitor products receive broad support. This criterion ensures that Gold Award winners stand alone atop a competitive field. Best in Class Awards were issued for products or services that did not achieve Gold recognition, but were otherwise recognized as excellent by their users. More than 238 product entries were received in a total of 21 categories including Self-Help, Call Center Communications/CTI, Customer Satisfaction Measurement and Field Service/Remote Communications. Awards were presented by Katherine Grayson, editorial director of Customer Support Management magazine and Gary Lemke, president of RealMarket Research. Epicor’s Clientele is an integrated, mission-critical solution for customer relationship management enabling mid-sized organizations to support and manage their most important asset -- their customers. With Clientele, users can gather, organize, track and share pre-sales, sales, and post-sales prospect, customer and competitive information.
