Studies) announced an agreement giving Epicor the right to market and distribute UltiPro Workforce Management to Epicor's customer base and to
businesses with under 500 employees.
According to the agreement signed in June, Ultimate Software has granted Epicor a worldwide, non-exclusive license to sell UltiPro as either an in- house license or as a
hosted solution known as Intersourcing. With the in- house solution, Ultimate Software will perform the customer support and maintenance functions and, with the
Intersourcing solution, Ultimate Software hosts UltiPro and supports it for the customer. The partnership provides Ultimate Software the opportunity to accelerate distribution
of UltiPro and to increase its recurring revenue stream through incremental maintenance revenues and monthly fees associated with hosting. For Epicor, the partnership
provides the opportunity to offer the solution to the under 500-employee market and to cross-sell to its current customers with a comprehensive workforce management suite
that includes a workforce portal and functionality for managing human resources, benefits, payroll, training, recruitment, position management, and self-service.
