BURLINGTON, Massachusetts, December 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ClickSoftware Technologies (Company Profile, Past Stories, Case Studies), Ltd. (NasdaqSC: CKSW), the leading provider of workforce and service optimization solutions, today announced a new deal to supply products and related services to a major European utility company.

The company has purchased several products from ClickSoftware's ServiceOptimization Suite, including tools for optimized scheduling and analytics. This significant deal was won and will be implemented through IBM, a key partner of ClickSoftware in the energy and utilities market worldwide. The solution will be integrated with the customer's existing SAP backend system.

This contract signifies another major win in the utility sector, and it joins a sequence of major ClickSoftware wins announced in the past sixty days, revenues from which are expected to be recognized across several quarters.
