LONDON--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 8, 2003 -- Chordiant Software (Company Profile, Past Stories, Case Studies) (NasdaqNM:CHRD - News) today confirmed its annual Customer Symposium will run from October 13th through the 15th in Dublin, Ireland. Delegates from much of Chordiant's Global 1000 customer base are expected to attend, building on the success of the first conference held last year.

The Symposium will consist of three separate but integrated forums for Chordiant customers as part of the program supported by the Chordiant Customer Network Group. The Chordiant Executive Customer Advisory Board and Chordiant Product Development Forums will meet during Monday, October 13th. These sessions are designed to allow customers to interact with Chordiant executives in order to understand Chordiant's strategy and plans for product direction, whilst providing customers the opportunity for input as to their future requirements and priorities.

The third event is the Chordiant Customer Conference, which is scheduled for Tuesday, October 14th through Wednesday, October 15th. This event will provide a forum to discuss approaches to enabling business agility through deploying contemporary business process management solutions. Presentations will be delivered by customers, industry experts, leading consultants and Chordiant executives demonstrating current strategies, approaches and successes made possible by the move to a process centric world.

Customers will provide compelling evidence as to how leading organizations are using Chordiant solutions for business success in order to improve productivity, drive down operating costs and increase business flexibility. Industry experts will discuss the trend to focus on process, as they undergo structural change from verticalised product- focused companies to distributed customer-focused organizations. Consultants will outline the new mission for aligning business and IT objectives, describing how contemporary service oriented architectures and process driven solutions provide the means to enable this business transformation as part of a wider change program.

Chordiant will discuss and showcase new, recently announced process driven solutions, demonstrating new capabilities for improving business performance and delivering value. Chordiant partners will also participate in the Customer Symposium in the Business Solutions Center, where they will showcase their solutions and offer additional perspectives on process management, on demand solutions and supporting services.

The conference is specifically designed to meet the needs of current and prospective Chordiant customers, offering a platform for the exchange of ideas, current best practices and implementation strategies that can increase the return on Chordiant investments. Stephen Kelly, President and Chief Executive Officer, Chordiant, commented: "This event is a unique opportunity for customers to hear from their peers as well as industry experts, and Chordiant, about the future of industry specific processes, changing business value chains, and new solutions, while also previewing Chordiant's products and services."

Keynote speakers will include executives from world-class organizations including USAA, Bank of Ireland, CIBC, Banca Popolare di Novara and Nokia. Expert commentary will also be provided by Nathaniel Palmer, VP and Chief Analyst, Delphi Group; Prof. Adrian Payne, Director, Centre for Customer Relationship Management, Cranfield School of Management; and Adrian Harkin, Partner, IBM Business Consultancy Services.

The event will take place at Jurys Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin, Ireland.
