Chordiant Software Expects to Meet Revenue Consensus Estimate For The Third Quarter


CUPERTINO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 25, 2002--Chordiant Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHRD - News), a leading provider of innovative customer management solutions for global business-to-consumer companies, today announced it expects to meet the revenue consensus estimate for the third quarter ending September 30, 2002. For the third quarter 2002, the consensus estimate for revenue is $16.1 million.

"Based on business Chordiant has booked to date, we are reaffirming guidance for the third quarter and are now focused on our sales efforts for the fourth quarter and building our pipeline for 2003," said Stephen Kelly, president and CEO.

Chordiant will provide financial details for the third quarter during its regularly scheduled quarterly conference call on Tuesday, October 22, 2002. The conference call, which will take place after the close of the market that day, will be web cast live for all investors and archived on the Chordiant web site until the end of the fourth quarter of 2002.
