CHORDIANT SOFTWARE AND CARO SYSTEMS JOIN FORCES TO PROVIDE SEAMLESS DEPLOYMENT OF eCRM SOLUTIONS

Consulting Agreement Provides Companies with Rapid Back-end and Legacy Integration to Solve Extreme eBusiness Challenges

CUPERTINO, Calif. and TORONTO, September 5, 2000 - Chordiant Software, Inc. (Nasdaq: CHRD), a leading provider of eBusiness infrastructure software for customer interaction, and Caro Systems (Caro), Inc., specializing in the rapid delivery of integrated information solutions at the enterprise level, today announced a strategic consulting agreement. As a result of the agreement, Caro will work as an integration partner to expand the delivery capability for Chordiant solutions.
