Blue Pumpkin Software Announces New Vice President of EMEA as International Operations ExpandBirmingham, Call Centre Expo 2000 - 19 September, 2000 - Blue Pumpkin Software, a leading provider of workforce management solutions, today announced the expansion of its international operations and the appointment of a new vice president for the European, Middle Eastern and African Markets. The European headquarters have moved into larger premises to support the company's growing partnership base, with Julian Harper taking charge of the company’s growing operations.Since the launch of the international headquarters in October 1998, Blue Pumpkin Software has encountered phenomenal growth in Europe. The customer base has more than doubled in the last 12 months, and revenues have grown by more than 100 percent. Blue Pumpkin employee numbers have more than tripled in order to support the growing customer base, and offices have opened in Italy, Japan, Australia, Canada and most recently Germany. Previously CEO and Managing Director for EMEA at Systems Union Limited, Harper brings a wealth of experience in the area of complex software solutions. He has managed international support, sales, professional services and marketing for companies such as ICL and Sanderson PLC, where he was managing director of commercial systems.
