INDIANAPOLIS (October 14, 2003)-Aprimo™ (Company Profile, Past Stories, Case Studies), Incorporated, a leading provider of marketing management software, today kicks off the Aprimo™ Marketing Summit, a two-day forum where some of the world's leading marketing innovators gather in Indianapolis to showcase world-class implementations of Aprimo's software, articulate the quantifiable business value being delivered, and exchange best practices for the adoption and application of marketing software.

This year's event brings together approximately 150 attendees from across North America and Europe, representing many vertical industries, including financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, business services, technology, media and education.

"This year's Aprimo Marketing Summit will be an extremely powerful event for everyone," said William M. Godfrey, co-founder and chief executive officer of Aprimo, Incorporated. "Companies are embracing 'execution excellence' as an indicator to overall marketing performance that is every bit as important as return on investment. The presentations at the Summit will highlight that our solutions help companies of all sizes deliver unrivaled excellence in marketing execution and maximize ROI."

The two-day summit includes working sessions geared specifically to both Marketing Resource Management and Demand Creation applications, in addition to ample networking opportunities. During a customer appreciation dinner on the first evening, Aprimo will announce the winners of the APEX Award, given annually to companies that demonstrate the most innovative use of marketing technology. In addition, eight companies will discuss their own marketing successes and Aprimo executives will discuss the latest marketing technology advances.

"This year's Aprimo Marketing Summit continues our trend of breaking the mold of traditional customer conferences that are usually just commercials for the hosting company," said Bob Boehnlein, senior vice president of global services for Aprimo. "Our Summit benefits our customers, prospective customers, business partners and Aprimo. Our keynotes and track sessions are not filled with platitudes, but instead show companies how to leverage technology to save money and improve results."

Companies presenting at the event include:

Alltel - a customer-focused communications company with more than 12 million customers

Bank of America - the second-largest banking company in the United States (by market capitalization)
