Miracle xrp, Applix Team to Provide Integrated, Web-Centric CRM-Based E-FulfillmentMiracle xrp's CRM/xrp Enterprise Solutions Use Applix for Internet-Based Customer Relationship Management (iCRM)WILMINGTON, Mass.--Sept. 18, 2000-- Miracle xrp, a provider of enterprise frameworks, today announced that it has joined Applix, Inc.'s (NASDAQ:APLX) Leadership Alliance Partner (ALAP) program and will utilize Applix's industry-leading Web-based iCRM solution as part of its integrated e-fulfillment solution. The partnership will enable Miracle xrp customers to tightly manage both their customer and supplier relationships, thereby improving their competitive advantage. Using the combined solution, companies will be able to collect and manage massive customer and supplier information that span from the sales through fulfillment processes. The agreement serves to integrate Applix's iCRM solution with Miracle's back-office, fulfillment and procurement systems. In addition, it will tie Miracle xrp's graphical workflow with Applix's software to better manage demand and supply chain, maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) and service warranty business processes. ``Combining the scalable and dynamic technology of Miracle xrp and Applix will empower mid-sized organizations with cost-effective advanced e-business relationship management functionality that has traditionally been out of their reach,'' said Mark Burfield, vice president of business development for Miracle xrp. ``By partnering, we incorporate our end-to-end enterprise framework with Applix's iCRM capabilities to provide a complete relationship management/fulfillment solution.'' AMR Research estimates that while the ERP replacement suite could take 5+ years to build, trading exchanges are available and emerging now. A trading exchange requires Web based supply chain management plus iCRM and ERP lite. AMR Research further estimates the value of exchange sales to exceed $3 trillion dollars by 2004. The combination of miracle xrp's framework and Applix's relationship management solution and tools will enable many customers to fully realize the potential market without engaging in high risk investments. The miracle xrp enterprise framework will integrate functionality from order management to manufacturing to raw materials and ultimately distribution. It is targeted at mid-market discrete and automotive manufacturers as well as pharmaceutical companies. The enterprise framework solution provides integrated financial, costing, supply chain management, debtor and creditor management, production processing and planning capabilities. Miracle sees solid opportunity to position Applix to its European base as well as leverage new customer opportunities. The fact that Applix is currently available in multiple languages and has a global service capability increases the synergy between the two organizations. ``Increasingly, the competition for enterprise customers is at the outside edge of the ERP footprint,'' said Cris Miller, Miracle's vice president of professional services. ``Applix adds significant value to Miracle's customer base because of its ability to bring value to the service and warranty areas as well as manage both ends of the value chain.'' Alan Goldsworthy, Applix's president and CEO commented, ``We are excited about this partnership. Miracle xrp is a leading e-fulfillment and e-procurement solution provider, which Applix complements with leading CRM, CRM Analytics, and business planning. Together, our combined strengths will allow Miracle xrp's customers to more tightly manage both the supply- and demand-sides of their businesses.'' Goldsworthy concluded, ``As a result of our new partnership, Miracle xrp's customers will be able to more effectively deliver products to their customers at the right time and at the right price thereby improving customer loyalty and competitive position.'' Suzanne Hoffman, vice president of Applix Strategic Alliances, said, ``This relationship with Miracle xrp is yet another proof-point of our growing leadership position in providing demand chain management solutions.
