Studies), Inc., a leading provider of wireless solutions for the mobile field service industry, announced today Heineken Ireland has selected Antenna Software A3 applications to manage its planned cleaning and break/fix service initiatives at 8,000 venues that serve Heineken products on tap. Heineken's field technicians and contact center agents will access real-time customer information wirelessly, enabling a higher level of customer response and streamlined management of service inquiries.

Heineken Ireland will implement Antenna A3 SmartClient for Siebel solution, a robust mobile application designed to wirelessly extend Siebel's enterprise system (already implemented by Heineken), to RIM 7230 BlackBerry devices carried by Heineken's service teams. Antenna's A3 SmartClient application enables service technicians to access real-time work order and customer data from the company's back-end Siebel service management system. This application delivers rich functionality and relevant information intelligently. Remote employees get precisely the information they need to do their jobs in a format that is easy to use.
Supplementing the functionality of Antenna A3 SmartClient, Heineken will also deploy Antenna A3 Studio, an open standards-based application development platform that enables organizations to fully customize, configure, administer and maintain their mobile applications easily and comprehensively. It transparently supports multiple device form factors, networks and back-end systems and offers the unique ability to update applications "over the air" without taking devices out of the field, which provides the ability to keep devices in use and ensures no lost productivity.
