SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Amdocs (Company
Profile, Past
Stories, Case
Studies) (NYSE: DOX - News), the world's leading provider of CRM and billing, today announced the successful deployment of Amdocs ClarifyCRM at
Cegetel, the fixed telecommunications brand of France's first private telecommunications operator, Groupe Cegetel. Amdocs ClarifyCRM is helping Cegetel automate and
manage the entire customer lifecycle, from selling and ordering to provisioning and support. Cegetel now relies on Amdocs ClarifyCRM to keep operational costs to a
minimum while accelerating the time to market of new offerings and improving the quality of customer service for its 16,000 enterprise customers.
"Amdocs was the only CRM solution provider that could deliver the comprehensive process management functionality we needed to ensure the highest quality of sales
and service to our enterprise customers, " said Eric Iooss, CIO at Cegetel. "We're already seeing significant benefit in terms of competitive advantage and
customer satisfaction. Amdocs' ClarifyCRM helps us get to market faster and keep customers happier, all through a consolidated, cost-effective solution."
At the heart of Cegetel's wireline business, Amdocs ClarifyCRM automates every customer-facing business process. Cegetel sales representatives can book an order using
the integrated and comprehensive product catalog; Amdocs ClarifyCRM then ensures that the order is carried out to completion, automating such tasks as contract
management and validation, service deployment activities, network activation, and billing activation. Cegetel also relies on Amdocs ClarifyCRM to handle customer support
and service calls and strengthen customer relationships.
Amdocs ClarifyCRM integrates with numerous third-party systems in use at Cegetel, including billing, data warehousing, activation, accounting, sales commissioning, and
reporting applications. In addition, several packaged and custom-built systems previously used for contract, fulfillment, and reseller management -- as well as a customer
and prospect database -- have been completely replaced by the streamlined Amdocs ClarifyCRM solution, lowering Cegetel's overall cost of ownership.
"Amdocs ClarifyCRM is designed to increase profitability for communication service providers, helping companies like Cegetel retain high value customers while
reducing operational costs," said Peter Hurst, Vice President, Clarify Business Strategy and Marketing at Amdocs. "Our strong heritage in the service provider
industry enables us to deliver solutions that help operators effectively and efficiently meet customer expectations through the integration and management of complex
business processes."
Cegetel's Amdocs ClarifyCRM implementation project was led by Accenture, the world's leading management and technology services organization with more than 75,000
people in 47 countries, in close cooperation with the Amdocs Professional Services Organization in France.
