Governor Don Sundquist of Tennessee Proclaims Week of Oct. 14-21, 2000, as Association For Services Management International (AFSMI) WeekAFSMI to Kick-Off 25th Anniversary Celebration at the AFSMI 30th World Conference & Exposition October 15-17, 2000, Opryland Hotel, Nashville, TennesseeFort Myers, Florida, September 26, 2000--David F. Henault, CEO of AFSM International, the worldwide association for executives, managers, and professionals in the high-technology services and support industry, announced that Don Sundquist, governor of Tennessee, has proclaimed the week of October 14-21, 2000, as Association For Services Management International Week in Tennessee. The proclamation was made in recognition of AFSMI’s 25th anniversary celebration being kicked off at the AFSMI 30th World Conference & Exposition, October 15-17, 2000, Opryland Hotel, Nashville, Tennessee.AFSMI was founded in 1975 as a non-profit, global services and support association focused on the professional development of high-technology services management personnel.
