Mr. Vestal is Vice-President, Technical PreSales and Business Development at Quintus Corporation. He is responsible for the development and deployment of call center solutions, with particular emphasis on CTI and telephony. Mr. Vestal was a principle of the Nabnasset Corporation, which was acquired by Quintus Corporation in 1997. An experienced software and systems engineering executive with strong technical, organizational, and communication skills, Mr. Vestal joined Nabnasset Corporation in January 1996. Prior to joining Nabnasset, Mr. Vestal was Vice President of Development for Thinking Machines Corporation, where he assisted in formulating and implementing business strategies as part of the company’s reorganization. From 1981 to 1994, Mr. Vestal held various management positions with Schlumberger, Ltd., including Director of Engineering and Manager of Product Development of Applicon, a CAD/CAM software vendor and subsidiary. Before joining Schlumberger, Mr. Vestal held several technical management positions at Honeywell, serving as Manager of Technology Applications throughout the 1970s. Mr. Vestal holds a B.A. degree in Mathematics, an M.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Kansas, and has been developing client-server software solutions since before the term was invented. |
