Stephen Lane consults with Information Technology (IT) professional
services suppliers and their clients on topics ranging from business
solutions services strategies and delivery models to infrastructure planning,
design, and implementation offerings. His primary focus is on the business
strategies, organizational structures, service offerings, and delivery models
of consulting and systems integration firms as they relate to such complex
business solutions as customer relationship management (CRM) supply
chain management (SCM) and electronic business (e-Business) and the
strategies, processes, applications, databases, and IT infrastructures that
define and support them.
As a member of Aberdeen's Professional Services practice, Lane tracks
and analyzes major trends in the professional services industry and works
with suppliers to help refine service offerings and market positioning
messages. He also conducts competitive analysis and sales force training
for supplier clients and speaks to user groups and at industry conferences
on such topics as business and IT solutions planning and deployment best
practices.
