Mr. Barletta was recently appointed to the unique position of Product Evangelist for eGain's Knowledge products. A Product Evangelist is one part Consultant, one part Sales Rep., one part Marketer, and one part Product Architect. In this position, he acts as a liason between eGain and its customers, providing information and guidance in the most effective use of knowledge management in a multi-channel communications environment and gathering key requirements from customers that can be used to innovate and expand eGain's Knowledge Management tools. Over the past 5 years at Inference, Ralph has served in a variety of roles, starting with Chief Scientist, then VP of Research, Sr. VP of R&D, and most recently President of the k-Commerce Support Division. Prior to joining Inference in 1996, Ralph spent 10 years doing research, development, and consulting in the field of case-based reasoning, knowledge management and artificial intelligence. He received his BA in Business Administration and MS in Computer Science, both from Rutgers University. |
