Nelle Schantz, VP of CRM Global Strategy at SAS Institute, identifies global customer needs and emerging trends from a CRM perspective. She is responsible for the company’s global CRM business plan that drives the design of new CRM products and solutions. Schantz directs the Global CRM Team in implementation of best practices.
Before coming to SAS in June 2000, Schantz was senior vice president at First Union Corp., the Charlotte, North Carolina-based bank. While there, she led a company-wide project to enhance customer relationships through an in-depth understanding of customer profiles and behaviors. Schantz joined First Union in 1987. During her tenure, she served in various management roles.
Schantz holds an MBA degree from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Wake Forest University.
