As director of marketing communications for Silknet Software, Inc., Michael Bettua has extensive e-business experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM). Silknet is the leading company in the CRM market, and as an expert in customer-centric e-business, Bettua is responsible for driving Silknet’s value proposition, corporate positioning and messaging. In addition, Bettua is responsible for the conception, planning and launch of marketing campaigns to support Silknet’s customer-centric products including Silknet eService, eCommerce and eBusiness System.
Prior to joining Silknet, Bettua worked at IBM where he oversaw the development of marketing communications and campaigns to support the Power PC Alliance Program, as well as the Network Computer and “Set-Top Box” products.
Prior to that, Bettua was an Account Supervisor for a marketing consulting and services firm, responsible for the Hewlett Packard and Sun Microsystems accounts. Bettua developed and managed channel marketing programs for penetrating target vertical markets--particularly call centers in the financial services, utility and telco industries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Boston University.
