Jim Szyperski provides WebTone with a strong technology management
background and over 20 years experience. Prior to WebTone, Jim served as
Executive vice-president of Strategic Development at Premiere Technologies
(NASDAQ:PTEK), an Atlanta based company specializing in enhanced
communications services including voice mail, email, facsimile and
conference calling technologies. Before Premiere, Jim was the founder,
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Intellivoice Communications, a
company that developed and provided advanced speech technology products,
including speech recognition and speech synthesis, to the wireless
telecommunications industry. Intellivoice was acquired by Premiere
Technologies in 1999. Szyperski also spent several years at Votrax, an
early IVR company and prior to that 7 years with ROLM Corporation serving
in a variety of sales positions. Jim is a graduate of the University of
North Carolina with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
