As director of customer relationship management (CRM) and supplier relationship management (SRM) product marketing for J.D. Edwards, Reed is responsible for all aspects of product in these fast-growing solution areas. Reed supports the sales organization in the successful acquisition of customers, develops strategies and marketing assets directed toward the SRM/CRM marketplace, and identifies product enhancements with the development organization to create improvements that benefit J.D. Edwards’ customers. Prior to this position, Reed was responsible for the Industrial Marketing organization.
 
Reed joined J.D. Edwards in 1998 as the senior marketing manager for vertical marketing and spent one year as director of the industrial solutions group. Prior to joining J.D. Edwards, Reed spent 12 years at Nortel, where he held various managerial positions, including director of process optimization, Engineering manager, Manufacturing manager and customer services manager. Before working at Nortel, Reed was the lead engineer at GTE Products division working on Automotive and IFA products.
 
Reed graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in ceramic science and engineering. He received his MBA with a focus on marketing and operations at the University of North Carolina.
