She has been quoted and interviewed for her expertise repeatedly in leading industry trade journals. She was the publisher of the Support Solutions journal, which received international

Ivy's role as Chairman of the Board for the Help Desk Institute, her founding of the Help Desk Professionals Association and the first Technical Support Knowledge Management User Group (KMUG), as well as being on the Board of the Seattle Help Desk Local Chapter for six years, holding many positions, including President for four years, emphasizes her skills in
effectively running and managing user group organizations. She also holds a position on the Boards of DCI, Support Services Conference & Expo and the Knowledge Management Consortium Institute (KMCI). Her belief is that everyone benefits most from networking and sharing information.
