Greg Gianforte, CEO and Founder, has been active in the computer industry
for over 15 years. He founded Brightwork Development in 1986 to focus on
network management applications. Brightwork grew to 75 people, with software
installed on over 150,000 Novell systems prior to its sale to McAfee
Associates in 1994. At McAfee, Mr. Gianforte ran the North American sales
operation from approximately $25M in annual revenue to over $60M in
annual revenue in under a year. During his tenure, McAfee was selected by
Fortune Magazine as one of the "10 Coolest Companies In America," primarily
due to their Internet selling approach. Mr. Gianforte holds a BE in
Electrical Engineering and an MS in Computer Science from
