David Thacher is general manager of customer relationship management (CRM) for Microsoft® Business Solutions. In his role, Thacher has global responsibility for all midmarket CRM solutions, including Microsoft Customer Relationship Management, the field service applications and related solutions. He also plays an instrumental role in directing initiatives for Microsoft Corp.’s broader CRM strategies. Thacher joined Microsoft in 1988 and has held various leadership roles within the Microsoft Windows NT®, Publisher, Office and bCentral™ teams. He graduated magna cum laude with special honors from Yale University.
