Chris Erickson has over 25 years of management experience as both a supplier
and customer of high technology products. Mr. Erickson was most recently
chairman, CEO and president of Red Brick Systems, widely recognized as
leading the creation of the data warehouse market. Under Mr. Erickson's
leadership, beginning in early 1993, Red Brick emerged as a leader in the
data warehouse market, achieved a successful initial public offering in
1996, and merged with Informix in 1998. Prior to joining Red Brick, Mr.
Erickson served as President, Tandem Telecommunications Systems, Inc. and
Corporate Vice President/General Manager, Tandem Worldwide Telecom Division.
During his 13 years at Tandem, Erickson served in a variety of senior
management, marketing, and business development roles and helped the company
penetrate key vertical markets including the telecommunications and
financial service industries. Mr. Erickson holds an MBA from the University
of California at Berkeley and a BA in economics from the University of
California at Santa Barbara.
