Bo Wandell co-founded SafeHarbor.com in April 1998. The firm is pioneering the delivery of innovative, Web-based customer support services that are critical to the infrastructure of the new Web economy. SafeHarbor.com delivers interactive solutions that capture and simplify requested information, increasing customer satisfaction while minimizing cost and time to market. Bo is the company’s president, heading up sales, marketing, business development, international business and financing. SafeHarbor.com is headquartered in Satsop, Washington, where it houses its Contact Center operations; the company also has an office in downtown Seattle.
Bo, 44, has worked for computer technology firms for the past 14 years. Most recently, he was iCat Corporation's Vice President of Worldwide Sales, where he grew annual company revenues from $200K to $4.4M over 24 months. Bo also played a primary role in iCat's successful effort to raise $19.6M in venture financing.
As Vice President of Sales for Spry, Inc., Bo led the phenomenal growth and subsequent sale of Spry to CompuServe for $100M. During his tenure at Spry, annual revenues increased over 1,200% during a two-year period. With the acquisition of Spry by CompuServe, Bo gained responsibility for sales of all CompuServe software products and OEM relationships. He managed a 40 person international sales force with revenue responsibility of $470M.
While working in Silicon Valley, Bo was director of North American Sales for Legato Inc. where he established and managed Legato's OEM strategy. Subsequently, the OEM revenues became the foundation of Legato's successful initial public offering.
Bo has held sales and marketing positions with Ingres, Inc., Digital Equipment Corporation and Tymnet Inc. He is also on the Board of Directors for the Washington Software Alliance. Bo graduated from Washington State University with a BS in Journalism and now lives in Seattle, WA. He is married and has two children.
