Bill is the founder of The Knowledge Capital Group (KCG), a strategic advisory firm focused on helping vendors in the enterprise and Internet software marketplaces to be more successful. Bill is frequently quoted in the trade and business press and regularly presents at trade shows and conferences around the world. He is recognized as a cutting-edge thought leader in the marriage of traditional and Web based enterprise business systems and has served as an advisor to some of the world's most successful innovators of customer and business-oriented solutions. Prior to launching KCG, Bill was an executive at SMART Technologies. Before joining SMART, Bill launched and was research director for the Gartner Group's Marketing Knowledge and Technology (MKT) service. Prior to Gartner, Bill held executive and international management positions at Gentia Software, Dun and Bradstreet's Sales Technologies, Inc. subsidiary, the SAS Institute and GE Capital Corporation. He has a B.S. from Babson College.
