As the former Senior Vice President of KnowledgePool (a Fujitsu company), Bill led the strategic business development efforts of a premiere global human capital development firm. As the former President of Mentergy and Chief Learning Officer at ExecuTrain Corporation, Bill understands the education and training market from a very unique perspective. Bill has also served as the Senior Vice President of Sales at Element K, formerly Ziff-Davis Education.
During his tenure as Chief Learning Officer of ExecuTrain Corporation, Bill led the efforts in product development, emerging technologies, training/certification, and research and development. He was responsible for the design and launch of the ExecuTrain Virtual University and the adoption of High-Performance Learning as a revolutionary approach to integrating technology into classroom education and training. Bill’s team at ExecuTrain led the world’s largest instructor-led IT training provider into the world of eLearning.
Bill’s career in the training and education field began with the Dale Carnegie Organization, where he led his Institute to achieve the President's Cup Award, a recognition that less than 10 percent of the Institutes around the world achieve.
As the Director of Training and Development for a major specialty retailer, Bill was responsible for over 600 commissioned sales associates, 200 customer service team members, and the management teams in over 150 locations. Under his direction, the company was awarded the coveted “Retailer of the Year” award in its industry.
Bill is regularly featured in industry forums and events and has appeared on "Breakfast with Dell," and “Business Across America”. Bill is a judge for the Brandon Hall “Excellence in eLearning” Awards. He also teaches public speaking at the collegiate level and is the author of numerous white papers on trends and technologies in learning, learning trends, and human capital development. His recently published book, “Increasing the Odds: Sales Is Not A Numbers Game,” is a best seller in the business book arena.
