Why does RealPlayer report, "This document is not a RealAudio document?"

You must upgrade your RealPlayer to the latest version because you have an older version of RealPlayer installed on your machine that does not recognize new RealAudio SureStream content. Click here to upgrade to the free RealPlayer G2.


RealPlayer is not installed on my computer -- what should I do?

To listen to RealMarket Live!, you must have RealPlayer G2 installed on your computer. Click here to download to the free RealPlayer G2, and then install the application on your computer. You may need to restart you computer for RealPlayer to work properly.


What are the minimum requirements for listening to RealMarket Live!?

Windows:
90MHz Intel Pentium processor or equivalent, 16MB of RAM, 14.4Kbps modem, 16-bit sound card and speakers, Windows 95 or NT operating system, Internet connection and web browser

Macintosh:
Mac OS 8.1 or later, 32 MB of RAM, 65MB of virtual memory, 604 PowerPC (200MHz or better), Internet connection, Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 or later or Netscape 4.05 or later


I just installed RealPlayer G2 on my computer, but I still can't listen to RealMarket Live! -- what should I do?

You may need to restart you computer after installation for RealPlayer G2 to work properly.


Why don't I hear any sound even though RealPlayer appears to be playing?

There are several possible causes. Please check the following:
  • Are your speakers attached and turned on?
  • Is the operating system's volume control turned up?
  • Is the volume control within RealPlayer turned up?
