Core Products and Services

NetOp Remote Control for Windows NetOp Remote Control enables authorized personnel to remotely control multiple Windows 3.x, 95/98, NT, OS/2 and DOS machines via modems, networks or over the Internet. Special features include a graphical hierarchical phone book, advanced centralized security and administration options and a ‘Request Help’ button for network users to send a message to help providers who can then control the troubled user’s PC with a click of a button.

NetOp School NetOp School is a software solution for computer based training on a network, over the Internet or using Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Server. NetOp School for Windows offers teachers and corporate trainers a powerful combination of seven essential tools for networked classroom instruction. Show your screen to the class, see student screens as they work, operate PCs as if you were in front of them, chat with one or more students, call your class to attention, launch application on one or all PCs or transfer files without exchanging floppy disks. Designed for teachers and corporate trainers NetOp School enhances both student and teacher productivity, without additional hardware requirements.

NetOp Gatway The NetOp Gateway is available as a Windows and OS/2 program to easily enable a NetOp guest PC to access networked NetOp host PCs from a remote location. The easy to install and maintain Gateway also enables network Guest's to dial out from the network to an external Host. The guest PC can reach the gateway program via Network, Modem, ISDN (CAPI) or APPC (OS/2 only). From the gateway, host PCs can be reached via Modem, IPX, TCP/IP and NetBIOS. The Gateway is unique in that it supports multiple sessions on one PC.

NetOp Access Security Server Unlike other remote control solutions which offer only local security settings NetOp Access Security Server provides a centralized approach. This NetOp module manages security information about Guests and Hosts. The purpose is to enable central control of security settings and to perform authentication tasks centrally. With the NetOp Access Server, you get a higher level of security while minimizing the effort needed to implement and control your security policy.

NetOp Log Server The NetOp Log Server is a special NetOp host module that can act as a Log Server. It receives information from other NetOp modules and logs it to disk. Because the NetOp Log Server communicates directly via the network protocol, logging can take place even when PCs are not connected to a file server. There can be multiple Log Servers running in a network making it possible to have separate audit trails for different departments. The NetOp Log Server runs on any Windows or OS/2 PC.

NetOp for OS/2 With NetOp for OS/2 you can reach any OS/2, Windows 3.x, Windows 95/98, Windows NT (3.x, 4.0) or DOS PC from the comfort of your own OS/2 desktop. View the remote PC's screen, control its keyboard and mouse, transfer files back and forth. NetOp for OS/2 supports any popular communication protocol (NetBIOS, IPX, TCP/IP, APPC, and modem).
