Job Description: TEKsystems, a premier provider of IT Services in the Seattle area, has an opportunity to join one of Seattle's landmark companies as a systems analyst. This person will be part of a team that is monitoring and maintaining all operating systems (Unix, Windows NT, AS/400), networks, job schedules, and database management systems on a 24/7 basis. You will be responding to problems using defined procedural solutions and escalating to level two when it is appropriate. On a day to day basis, you will be performing tape backups, problem documentation, enforcing data access and security policies, and monitoring the system for any problems. We need a person who is flexible on the shift that they are willing to work. The candidate we need will have experience as a computer operator or systems analyst in an AS/400 environment.
