Customer Support Specialist

Location: San Carlos, California
Job Description:  The Customer Support Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the success of our customers. They communicate with customers to solve problems in the suite of financial management applications from Closedloop. The ideal candidate should work effectively with customers and be an effective problem solver. He or she will support the way in which our customers make business decisions using the state-of-the-art web-based Closedloop suite of financial management applications. Responsibilities are to: § Act as an in-house customer advocate § Provide timely responses to customers inquiries § Work with customers and internal engineering team to reproduce/resolve problem § Manage the customer support call tracking database § Participate in technical reviews for new applications, features, and enhancements § Solicit customer feedback on new applications, features, and enhancements § Train new customer support specialists § Maintain Closedloop's FAQ's (Frequently Asked Questions) and Support website § Participate in developing customer support policies. Qualifications Required: § 1-2 years Customer Support experience with enterprise software applications § Excellent communication and interpersonal skills § Strong analytical skills § Excellent organizational skills § A commitment to customer success. Desired: § Corporate Financial experience (any area) § College level finance coursework § Knowledge of Application Service Providers/hosted applications operations § Relational Database experience § Customer support and/or training experience § Proficiency with Office 2000 applications § HTML and Java experience. § Good sense of humor and desire to have fun! Education BS degree.
