And Acxiom Alliance [Top]
Pegasystems announced a technology alliance with Acxiom to
deliver a CRM solution that provides organizations with
the ability to identify and support their customers with
intelligent, consistent and superior service. Pegasystems
has developed an integration connector between its eCRM
Foundation Template and Acxiom's Solvitur framework for
Customer Data Integration. Organizations using the
connector will have a view of the customer and guidance
for the interaction, including information such as who is
calling, what their history with the company is and how
they should be serviced.
Blue
Pumpkin Appoints William Seawick CMO [Top]
Blue Pumpkin announced the appointment of William Seawick
as Executive VP and CMO. With more than 19 years of senior
management and marketing experience in both the technology
and management consulting industries, including positions
at Oracle, Sun Microsystems, Apple Computer and Arthur D.
Little, Seawick joins Blue Pumpkin's executive management
team to lead and expand Blue Pumpkin's global marketing
and business development efforts.
Roundarch
and BroadVision Establish Alliance [Top]
Roundarch announced an alliance with BroadVision. The
alliance will place Roundarch as one of BroadVision's
systems implementation partners and will support joint
business development and marketing programs.
Selectica
Establishes e-Banking Division [Top]
Selectica announced the formation of an e-Banking division
to focus on providing e-Business solutions to banking and
brokerage companies. The formation of the new business
unit strengthens Selectica's commitment to deliver
solutions that enable businesses in vertical markets to
transform the way they sell and service their customers.
Qwest
Selects ChannelWave [Top]
ChannelWave Announced that Quest has selected
ChannelWave's Partner Loyalty System to enhance support
for its business partners, helping Qwest to attract
additional partners, and develop new markets to increase
channel sales revenue. Qwest will utilize ChannelWave's
Web-based Partner Loyalty System to automate the Qwest
Business Partner Program including resellers, systems
integrators, independent software vendors and ASPs.
Recognition
Systems Moves Into Hong Kong [Top]
Recognition Systems announced the opening of its new Hong
Kong subsidiary, Protagona Worldwide. Increased presence
in the Asia-Pacific markets is an initiative made possible
by a shareholder offer last November, which raised $30
million. Expansion into Hong Kong follows the opening of
an office in Sydney, Australia this April.
Xchange
Strengthens Management Team [Top]
Xchange announced two key hires: Phil Adams, formerly of
Pegasystems, has joined the firm as senior VP of
marketing, and Steve Shander, formerly of Peoplesoft, has
joined as senior VP of sales for the Americas. Both report
to David McFarlane, president and COO of Xchange.
Neteos
Appoints Bill Varga As VP [Top]
Neteos announced that Bill Varga, most recently vice
president at Interact Commerce and VP of worldwide sales
for Interact.com, has joined the eCRM solution provider,
as VP of worldwide sales. The appointment of Varga to the
Neteos management team adds an industry sales management
veteran to lead the worldwide market growth of Neteos'
eRMNow! suite.
