and Tumbleweed Announce Alliance [Top]
Siebel and Tumbleweed announced that they have entered
into an alliance to integrate Siebel eMail Response,
Siebel eService, and Tumbleweed Integrated Messaging
Exchange to provide a secure two-way communications
channel to enhance customer response management and
customer service on the Internet. The companies will
market and sell the solution to organizations in financial
services, insurance, healthcare, pharmaceuticals and other
industries.
Wellmark
Blue Cross Blue Shield Selects FirePond [Top]
FirePond announced that Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue
Shield has selected the FirePond SalesPerformer Suite for
integrating the insurance provider's sales, marketing and
enrollment efforts into a single platform. The selling
system will streamline Wellmark's small group sales and
enrollment process, by allowing agents and direct sales
staff to enroll groups in a better manner.
Enmed
Utilizes Pretzel Logic [Top]
Pretzel Logic announced that its solution will be used to
improve time-to-market demands for Enmed work in the
pharmaceutical industry. Pretzel Logic will tie the
company's customer support software, developed by Onyx
Software with configuration management, change request and
defect tracking software from Starbase. By linking these
functions, Pretzel Logic will deliver an ERM solution to
enable Enmed to respond to their customers' needs.
Management
Technology Group to Assist CustomerSoft [Top]
CustomerSoft has awarded a contract to Management
Technology Group to accelerate the migration of the
company's products from Web-enabled architecture to an
Internet-centric, browser-based architecture. New
functionality in this release includes automated workflow,
multiple levels of activity tracking and e-mail routing
and response capabilities via ESP's Expert Messenger
utility.
Lumbee
River Selects iMedeon [Top]
iMedeon was selected by Lumbee River Electric Membership
Co-operative (EMC) for its iM:Work software suite,
enabling integration of Lumbee River's mobile field
service information throughout the enterprise. Lumbee
River EMC will implement iMedeon's Web-based mobile
workforce management software to optimize field service
tasks, increase customer satisfaction, and create
competitive advantage.
Quadstone
Secures $30 Million [Top]
Quadstone has announced the closing of $30 million in
private equity financing. The financing round was led by
Amadeus Capital Partners. The syndicate includes existing
investors 3i plc, Scottish Equity Partners and Standard
Life and new investors including Chase Capital Partners,
Artemis and Friends Ivory & Sime.
Convergys
And ALLTEL Announce Agreement [Top]
Convergys and ALLTEL announced that their agreement under
which Convergys provides billing services to ALLTEL
wireless subscribers has been extended through at least
2003. Convergys and ALLTEL announced an amendment to their
wireless billing agreement under which Convergys would
assist in ALLTEL's migration of its wireless subscribers
from Convergys' systems.
InterVoice-Brite
Announces Organization Changes [Top]
InterVoice-Brite announced that it has organized its
internal operations into two integrated Divisions. Each
Division will be headed by a General Manager and will
contain Sales, Marketing, R & D, Operations and
Customer Service functions. The Network Systems Division
is headed by Executive VP Ray Naeini and the Business
Systems Division is led by Executive VP Bob Ritchey.
