    KANA announced that Allergan has implemented KANA Response software to enable its Medical Information Specification and Customer Service support teams to provide over 30,000 worldwide customers with more effective and efficient customer service. With KANA Response, Allergan now automatically routes more than 80 percent of customer requests to the appropriate expert contact center representative. As a result, Allergan is able to provide faster customer service and benefit from time savings as e-mails are routed to the correct contact center representative, allowing more time for the staff to focus on other customer-related tasks.



    Redecard Deploys MicroStrategy [Top]
    MicroStrategy announced that Redecard S/A has deployed MicroStrategy software to enhance its customer relationships and increase overall productivity by improving data access and streamlining the decision-making process. Redecard holds 45 percent of Brazil's domestic credit and debit card operations, including MasterCard and Diners Club International, with 615,000 authorized points of sale and 170,000 electronic terminals in business establishments.



    Peoples Bank Selects HNC [Top]
    HNC Software announced that People's Bank will implement HNC's Profit Manager software as a component of its new CRM initiative. Profit Manager software calculates the profitability of customers, relationships, products and business units.



    Highmark Selects Teradata [Top]
    Teradata has been selected by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield to bolster the insurance company's data warehousing and decision-support capabilities. The Teradata data warehouse supports Highmark's data mining, analytic activities and mandated reporting capabilities, including initiatives such as CRM, condition management and preventative care interventions, physician and hospital quality-of-care and cost measurement, mandated reporting for accreditation and employer consulting.
