Arthur Anderson and Selectica announced an alliance to
help businesses implement e-Business applications built
on Selectica's technology. Arthur Andersen will train
and certify a team of professionals to deliver
Selectica's Internet selling solutions to its clients in
several industries including telecommunications,
healthcare, insurance and energy. Selectica's ISS will
provide needs analysis, product configuration, pricing,
and order entry capabilities for enterprises selling
products and services.
DecisionPoint
Joins Siebel Alliance [Top]
DecisionPoint announced that it has joined the Siebel
Alliance Program as a Premier Software Partner. The
software alliance will include a product integration
that DecisionPoint will submit to the Siebel Validation
Program for technical review.
Peppers
and Rogers Appoints New CFO [Top]
Peppers and Rogers has named Douglas B. Smith as CFO.
Previously, Smith was Senior VP and Treasurer of
PRIMEDIA, media conglomerate that operates a diverse
group of consumer- and B2B-focused print, video and
Internet businesses, including magazines, Web sites, and
educational video and training programs.

Announces Second Annual Contest [Top]
eConvergent announced its second annual contest to
determine the best and worst customer service
experiences on the Internet this coming holiday season.
Consumers who have had good or bad experiences with

Interelate announced that it has been selected by
AltaVista to host and manage E.piphany's E.5
personalization and e-mail campaign management software.
Interelate will build a marketing data mart and provide

Helps Ballantyne [Top]
Epicor announced that Ballantyne of Omaha has selected
Vantage, Epicor's eManufacturing solution, to automate
all of its business processes. Ballantyne standardized
on Epicor to reduce paperwork, share knowledge, and gain
a more holistic view of company operations.
PAR3
and VisualCommerce Form Alliance [Top]
PAR3 and VisualCommerce announced a technology and
marketing alliance. This new partnership will make it
possible for developers using VisualCommerce’s
e-commerce solutions for building database-driven online
stores on the Microsoft E-Commerce Platform to be able
to integrate PAR3’s alerting platform.
