with AbiliTec [Top]
Acxiom announced a contract with Microsoft that will
enable Microsoft to use AbiliTec to improve its customer
relationships. AbiliTec will allow Microsoft to
integrate the information and preferences that customers
have provided from the Web site, software registrations
and customer service centers.
IBM
and i2 Extend Alliance [Top]
IBM and i2 announced that IBM has been selected as a
preferred Web hosting provider for i2 TradeMatrix. i2
TradeMatrix aims to allow businesses to create both
private and public marketplaces, while improving the
efficiencies of participants.
PeopleSoft
and Embark Partner [Top]
Embark and PeopleSoft announced a partnership to offer
colleges and universities web-based application services
for admissions. The agreement is a part of the new
Supplier Program for PeopleSoft MarketPlace, a B2B and
business-to-employee Internet trading network that
connects customers, employees and suppliers to deliver
eBusiness solutions.

Gets Two New Executives [Top]
Courion announced the addition of two executive team
members experienced in building and leading public
software companies- Mary Murphy, VP of human resources
and Gil Rodrigues, VP of channel and international
sales. Mary and Gil join VP of Marketing Tom Rose on the
executive management team.
PaineWebber
Teams with Vignette [Top]
PaineWebber announced it has joined forces with Vignette
to bring online financial advisory services to
PaineWebber clients by providing PaineWebber financial
advisors the ability to individualize online client
profiles. PaineWebber uses Vignette's V/5 E-business
Application software in conjunction with IBM WebSphere
Application Server technology to create online
applications for PaineWebber clients and employees.

Advisors Awards Brightware [Top]
Brightware announced that two of its customers, TRIP.com
and Cornerhardware.com, received top ratings by Gomez
Advisors, the Internet quality measurement firm.
Hyperion
Selects Callidus [Top]
Callidus announced that Hyperion is automating sales
compensation processes and marketplace
pay-for-performance programs. Hyperion has decided to
replace its sales compensation spreadsheets with
TrueComp an enterprise variable compensation management
system.
Interactive
Intelligence Signs NEC [Top]
Interactive Intelligence has signed NEC as a national
reseller. The agreement allows NEC BNS to sell
Interactive Intelligence's interaction management
software solution to NEC BNS' IP Telephony/Cisco
CallManager customers.
Seattle
Mariners Select Onyx [Top]
Onyx announced that the Seattle Mariners will
standardize all customer-facing operations on Onyx 2000.
The Mariners will use Onyx e-Business portals across
sales, marketing, service, support, community relations
and event management to conduct both BtoC and BtoB
interactions with customers and sponsors.
