KANA Enables VELUX
KANA announced that VELUX is using KANA Response software to respond to the 70,000 customer inquiries its German contact center receives annually. Based on its success reducing e-mail response times with KANA, the company is considering expanding its use of KANA to its contact centers in the United Kingdom and France.

Avaya And Extreme Networks Form Alliance
Avaya and Extreme Networks have entered into an alliance to develop and market converged communications solutions. Avaya will also resell Extreme Networks' data networking products and will provide planning, design, implementation and management services support through Avaya Global Services.
