Blue Martini Names President [Top] Blue Martini announced that Michael J. Borman has been appointed president and chief operating officer (COO). Borman will assume responsibility for all revenue operations, including global sales and professional services, and report to Monte Zweben, chairman and CEO of Blue Martini Software.
ePartners Wins Award [Top] ePartners has won the 2001 Solomon Excellence Award from Microsoft Great Plains.
Avaya Signs Agreement With Accenture [Top] Avaya announced a multi-year outsourcing agreement under which Accenture will provide end-to-end learning services, including web-based e-learning and classroom-based training, to Avaya employees, customers and Business Partners. Accenture will assume management of Avaya University`s global network of professionals. Avaya University services outsourced to Accenture include learning development, delivery and operations management functions.
Tomen Selects Convergys [Top] Convergys and Tomen Mediacom announced a seven-year contract for Convergys' WIZARD convergent video, voice, and data billing and subscriber management solution. Implementation is scheduled to be completed this year for the first of Mediatti's affiliated cable operators with work to conclude for the remaining operators in 2002.
Applix Continues To Win Customers [Top] Applix reports it earned 27 new customers as well as repeat business during the third quarter, which ended September 30, 2001. Applix's new corporate customers include Capital Net, MPC, and Terrible Herbst among others.
Xchange With New Initiatives [Top] Xchange debuted a new Web site that eases navigation and adds additional functionality. The new Xchange home page, www.xchange.com, will serve as a gateway for customers, partners and prospects to access information in less than four clicks on Xchange and its new Xchange 8 solution.
