Intel and Vignette announced a global e-Business
Alliance centered on Vignette's V/5 E-business
Application Platform and Intel-based servers. The
alliance is intended to reduce companies' e-business
application development costs and deployment time by
providing packaged software solutions powered by
Intel-based servers.
Delano
Reports Revenue [Top]
Delano announced revenue for the fiscal 2001 second
quarter, ended September 30, 2000. Revenues for the
quarter were US$8.0 million, representing an increase of
33 percent over revenues reported in Delano’s previous
quarter and an increase of 497 percent over revenues in
the same quarter of fiscal 2000.

Wins SSPA STAR Award [Top]
PTC announced the acceptance of the Software Technical
Assistance Recognition (STAR) Award for customer service
excellence presented by the Software Support
Professionals Association (SSPA). PTC’s award was
given in the category of electronic support.
Apropos
Signs Agreement With 3Com [Top]
Apropos announced it has entered into a reseller
agreement with 3Com. Apropos has been selected as the
vendor of choice to provide multi-channel contact center
management software as part of 3Com's new Contact
Advantage product suite. The first phase of Contact
Advantage, called IP Contact, is available immediately
and can be purchased from 3Com or through the 3Com
reseller network.
Xchange
Joins Radical [Top]
Xchange and Radical Communication have announced an
agreement to make the RadicalMail e-mail platform
available to Xchange's global client and partner base.
RadicalMail's e-mail technology will further enhance the
Xchange 4.0 solution suite for eCRM by helping clients
to deliver media e-mails to their customers.

Annuncio and Intershop announced an alliance to provide
a solution that combines Annuncio's e-Marketing Platform
with Intershop's sell-side e-business application,
enfinity. The combined solution is designed to enable
enfinity-driven sites to include campaign automation and

increase customer satisfaction.

Enhances CommerceTrends [Top]
WebTrends announces technology enhancements and new
partnerships for the CommerceTrends Visitor Relationship
Management Platform. CommerceTrends is an open platform
providing web analytics to address an eBusiness
challenge. WebTrends is introducing integration with
Siebel's CRM platform and Vignette and Allaire's content
management and personalization applications to help
eBusiness managers obtain a more holistic view of their
web visitors and customers.
SpeechWorks
Software Licensed By AOL [Top]
SpeechWorks announced a licensing agreement with America
Online, for its SpeechWorks speech recognition engine
and Speechify Text-to-Speech engine to allow callers to
ask for information and hear e-mails when using the new
AOL by Phone service. AOL by Phone makes it possible for
AOL's members to access their AOL account from any
telephone, by using their voice.
TeleTech
Awarded Agreement From Lehman Brothers Bank [Top]
TeleTech announced a contract award from Lehman Brothers
Bank to provide Internet-integrated customer care for
its online banking activities. TeleTech's customer
management solution will incorporate e-mail, phone and
fax customer interaction capabilities into Lehman's
banking platform.
