quarter ended September 30, 2000. Kana's revenues for the
quarter ended September 30, 2000 were $40.6 million, a
975% increase over historical revenues of $3.8 million in
the same period in the prior year and a sequential
increase of 59% from the preceding quarter.

Reports First Quarter Revenues of $12.1 Million [Top]
eGain Communications announced financial results for the
quarter ended September 30, 2000, the first quarter of its
fiscal year 2001. The September quarter was the single
largest quarter for eGain, as the company reported
revenues of $12.1 million, compared to $6.3 million in the
prior quarter - representing a 90% sequential increase for
the second consecutive quarter.
