Procom announced that it will employ Ask Jeeves to enhance
its technical support service. Procom will begin
implementing/migrating the Jeeves Live instant text
messaging, form-sharing and co-browsing service on its web
site this quarter with the goal of going live with the
customer support tool this winter.
InterVoice-Brite
Provides Solution for Thomas Cook [Top]
InterVoice-Brite joined Thomas Cook Global & Financial
Services by creating a global, automated, multi-lingual
customer call center. As part of an initiative to continue
improving customer relations, InterVoice-Brite combined
with technology partner, SpeechWorks International, to
provide Thomas Cook Global & Financial Services with a
speech recognition system offering customer service and
travelers checks validation for fraud prevention.

Polk and Acxiom Expand Agreement [Top]
R.L. Polk & Co. and Acxiom announced they have entered
into a relationship, covering technology sharing and data
processing services. With the new agreement, Polk will
adopt Acxiom's AbiliTec software for use as its Customer
Data Integration standard. Additionally, the alliance
agreement calls for Polk to offer Acxiom's AbiliTec
software to its roster of automotive clients.
Reynolds
and Reynolds Recognized by SSPA [Top]
The Reynolds and Reynolds Company has been recognized for
customer service by the Software Support Professionals
Association (SSPA). Reynolds’ National Customer Support
Center, located in Dayton, Ohio, received its second STAR
Award in the High Volume category during the SSPA’s
Horizons 2001 conference.

Announces Intellectual Property Management Program [Top]
eshare announced its Intellectual Property Management
(IPM) program. The IPM program reflects eshare
communications' continuing effort to license its portfolio
of patents, patents pending and patent applications. Under
the terms of the program, eshare's patented technologies
can be formally licensed to companies without the concern
of patent infringement.
Broadbase
Announces Revenue [Top]
Broadbase announced revenue for the quarter ended
September 30, 2000. Revenues for the third quarter marked
the largest quarter in Broadbase's history at $14.3
million, up 418% over the quarter ended September 30, 1999
and 38% over the quarter ended June 30, 2000.
Pivotal
Announces Revenue Growth [Top]
Pivotal announced financial results for its fiscal first
quarter 2001 ended September 30, 2000. Pivotal's net
revenues in the first quarter of fiscal 2001 increased 143
percent to $21.1 million compared to $8.7 million in the
first quarter of fiscal 2000.
Interactive
Intelligence Reports Third Quarter Revenues [Top]
Interactive Intelligence announced revenues of $10.5
million for the quarter ended September 30, 2000, an
increase of 100 percent over revenues of $5.2 million in
the same quarter a year ago. Total revenues for the first
nine months of 2000 were $26.1 million, an increase of
108% over revenues of $12.5 million for the first nine
months of 1999.
