Virtual
Kiosk System Through LivePerson [Top]
LivePerson announced that it will provide its Chat service
to Control Commerce's Virtual Kiosk system. The system
allows Web users to click on a banner, button or e-mail to
view merchandise or special offers, and then place an order,
without leaving the Web site they are visiting. By adding
LivePerson's Chat feature, the Virtual system will also
enable Web businesses to retain users while allowing their
advertisers to increase sales.
Solant
Alliance with NetExchange [Top]
Solant and NetExchange announced an alliance in which
NetExchange will integrate and offer Solant's EBPP software
with its UnifiedDirectory services. The combined solution
supports different payment options and billing formats, with
data integration between messaging and other applications,
while also providing control and streamlining of their
processes.

Martini Selects OpenViz [Top]
Blue Martini has selected OpenViz Web-based 3D graphics and
publishing technology from Advanced Visual Systems to help
provide capabilities for e-commerce data processed by Blue
Martini's Customer Interaction System. Blue Martini's
software application incorporates OpenViz data visualization
techniques to present customer behavior and other metrics.
Magic
Software Builds Solution for Toyo [Top]
Magic Software announced that it has completed construction
of an e-tailing solution for Toyo Information Systems Called
TISTrade. The solution makes it easier for manufacturers and
retailers outside of Japan to sell to consumers in that
country, as well as to identify and develop commercial
partnerships with Japanese companies.
Onvantage
and PCsupport.com Add eSupport [Top]
Onvantage and PCsupport.com announced an agreement to
integrate a version of PCsupport.com's eSupport solution to
add customer support to Onvantage's Internet service. The
offering will include Help Desk services in the form of
Email Assist, Live Assist, Online Tutorials, custom FAQs and
Remote Repair.
Siemens
Utilizes Novadigm Radia [Top]
Novadigm and HP announced that Siemens Health Services will
utilize Novadigm's Radia, the automated software and content
management component of HP OpenView, as part of Siemens'
MagicWatch system management service. The Radia component
allows Siemens to distribute, upgrade and repair imaging
system software and content across the firewalls that
protect hospital information systems.
eGain
Strengthens Marketing Efforts [Top]
eGain announced that it is strengthening its marketing
efforts with the appointment of two industry veterans to
senior positions. Ben Shelton joins eGain as VP of marketing
and Ryan Rosenberg becomes VP of international marketing.
