    Siebel Systems announced that ING Nationale-Nederlanden, the Spanish insurance company of ING Group is using Siebel eInsurance, which is designed for insurance companies to manage, synchronize, and coordinate customer touchpoints across channels of interaction. By integrating customer and partner information across multiple direct and indirect channels, including insurance brokers, field agents, the telephone, and the Internet, ING Nationale-Nederlanden aims to increase revenues and maximize customer satisfaction and loyalty.

    Commonwealth Industries has selected J.D. Edwards & Company as its platform for enterprise software. Commonwealth has purchased software suites from J.D. Edwards' newest collaborative offering, J.D. Edwards 5. Commonwealth will implement Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Advanced Planning, Business Intelligence, CRM, Tools & Technology, and Collaboration & Integration solutions.



    Avaya Helps Library [Top]
    Avaya announced that Red Deer Public Library is improving customer service by unifying its network infrastructure with Avaya IP Office, an "all-in-one" Internet Protocol (IP) telephony system. With the Avaya solution, Red Deer Public Library will integrate two local operations -- its main downtown location and one branch location -- enabling the library staff to provide faster and more effective services to its customers.
