Interface Helps Private Equity Company [Top] Adams Street Partners has implemented Interface Software's InterAction. The system delivers Relationship Intelligence to Adams Street Partners on their platform of choice, which they can then use to enhance client service, identify new business opportunities and differentiate the company from the competition.
Gartner Report Names Avaya Leader [Top] Avaya announced that the company has taken over the leading position in new agent shipments in the Canadian call centre market. According to a Gartner Dataquest Report dated August 2001, Avaya captured 41.3% market share of new agent shipments in 2000. According to the report, Avaya sold more than 19,000 new agent shipments in Canada, advancing two positions over its nearest competitors, which represents a 169% increase for Avaya, from 1999 to 2000.
eFunds With Acxiom [Top] Acxiom announced that eFunds has signed an agreement to continue using AbiliTec. The agreement with eFunds represents another endorsement for AbiliTec and its role in helping clients manage their CRM processes.
Nortel With SCI [Top] Nortel Networks announced it has entered into an agreement with SCI Systems to outsource the Company's remaining printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) activities. Nortel Networks proposes to outsource to SCI the PCBA activities performed in its Systems Houses in St. Laurent, Quebec and Monkstown, Northern Ireland.
Applix Appoints CFO [Top] Applix announced that it has named Walt Hilger as Chief Financial Officer. In his new role, Mr. Hilger will be responsible for the financial management of the company. He replaces Ed Terino, who is pursuing another opportunity.
