Alliance With Kana [Top]
KPMG Consulting and Kana Communications announced an
alliance. The companies have extended their relationship by
entering into a formal alliance agreement to develop and
market the entire range of Kana's eRM solution, including
all communications and business applications and the Kana
eBusiness platform.
NCR
Adds TCI RetailSuite [Top]
NCR and Total Control Information (TCI) announced that they
have signed an agreement to add TCI's RetailSuite of
integrated software to NCR's Demand Chain Management
solutions. The combined solutions will allow the managed
delivery of information and answers to end user touch
points, with iterative performance analysis of decisions and
actions.

Adds Extra Security [Top]
SpeechWorks announced the availability of the SpeechSecure
solution, speaker verification technology that provides
security and convenience to callers who access personal
information and conduct commerce over the phone.
SpeechSecure uses a voice verification solution to confirm a
caller's identity by creating and matching a voiceprint.

Knowledge Impact announced an agreement with IQ4hire to
jointly market their offerings. Together IQ4hire and
Knowledge Impact will enhance their professional services
offerings, providing a more comprehensive solution for IT
project planning.
Telera
Adds Nuance [Top]
Telera announced a partnership with Nuance and joined
Nuance's Voice Web ASP Program. Nuance's speech recognition
software will be hosted on Telera's Intelligent
Communications Network.
Onyx,
Softbank,and Prime Invest Create Onyx Japan [Top]
Onyx, Softbank Investment and Prime Systems announced they
are investing to create Onyx Japan to bring Onyx Software's
e-business and relationship management solutions to the
Japanese market. Onyx Japan, which will be majority owned
and controlled by Onyx Software, was structured as a
Japanese venture in order to take advantage of local
investments and have the flexibility to take advantage of
Japanese stock market opportunities.

and Artesia Development [Top]
Vignette and Artesia Technologies announced that they will
create a combined e-business solution based on the Vignette
V/5 E-business Application Platform. The solution enables
the repurposing of content for publishing over multiple
channels to multiple devices.
