SmartForce and BroadVision announced that they will
co-develop e-Learning content covering BroadVision
One-To-One applications that will be integrated into
SmartForce's e-Business enablement solutions. The
companies will develop a portfolio of e-Learning events to
help customers and partners currently using BroadVision
applications as part of their mission-critical e-Business
initiatives.
Timberland
With eGain [Top]
The Timberland Company has chosen eGain Communications to
provide the foundation for its online customer service
strategy. Timberland has licensed eGain Mail to permit
customer service representatives to process and respond to
the increase in customer emails.
SSPA
Europe Executive Conference [Top]
The Software Support Professionals Association (SSPA) and
the SSPA Europe announced the SSPA Europe Executive Forum,
November 1-2, 2000, in Amsterdam. The Executive Forum is
designed as a series of forums where executives can gain
insight into how other European service and support
centers are dealing with some of the hottest issues of the
day.

Suisse Adopts Pegasystems [Top]
Pegasystems announced that Credit Suisse is using its
technology to automate the processing of payments
investigations and associated customer service requests
throughout Switzerland. Pegasystems' patented rules engine
has enabled Credit Suisse Investigators capabilities that
allow generated customer correspondence in four languages.

and CGI Sign Partnership [Top]
thinkAnalytics has entered into a partnership with CGI.
CGI will deliver consulting services to assist its
customers in the installation, customization and
integration of thinkCRA, thinkAnalytics' application suite
for customer analytics. thinkAnalytics will train and
certify CGI's consultants to become thinkCRA experts.

and Calico Expand Relationship [Top]
Perficient and Calico Commerce announced an extension of
their existing V-PSO agreement to include education as
well as professional services. The extension of this
relationship will benefit companies using Calico's
eBusiness applications by providing them with trained
Perficient consultants who can teach their employees how
to use and maximize Calico software.
MessageMedia
and SmartSource Team Up [Top]
MessageMedia will provide the enabling messaging software
foundation for SmartSource. MessageMedia's UnityMail ASP
program allows application service providers such as
SmartSource to deliver database-enabled e-mail marketing
and communication services to help businesses to acquire,
target, track, and retain customers.
InterVoice-Brite
and IPCell [Top]
InterVoice-Brite and softswitch provider IPCell
Technologies announced an interoperable partnering
agreement. The InterVoice-Brite Unified Messaging
application allows network service providers to offer
subscribers all-in-one access to their messages. . For
example, a subscriber can call one number to check all of
their messages, including voice, fax and email, in one
central mailbox.
