Appoints Chris Maeda to CTO [Top]
Broadbase announced that Chris Maeda,
Broadbase's current executive VP of
engineering, has been appointed to Chief
Technology Officer. In this position, Maeda
will ensure that Broadbase's technology
strategy provides the necessary foundation for
product development requirements, and will
communicate the company's technology strategy
to the market.

Richer VP for BroadVision [Top]
BroadVision announced that it has further
strengthened its international marketing
operation by appointing Martin Richer
Marketing VP for BroadVision. The move to
BroadVision follows a 10 year tenure at Oracle
France and then Europe, where, in 1990, he
launched the then-newly created Applications
Division.

Names CMO [Top]
eshare announced today that it has named Loyd
J. Olson to the position of chief marketing
officer. Olson joins eshare from Fourth Shift
Corp., where he was VP of marketing and
product management. While at Fourth Shift he
led the product management, lead generation,
customer sales and corporate communications
areas.

Appoints a New Senior VP [Top]
NSDI Teleperformance announces the appointment
of Gene A. Gray as its new Senior VP of Client
Services. Mr. Gray will serve as a liaison
between Teleperformance’s clients and its
project management teams, overseeing the
day-to-day operations of campaigns to ensure
customer satisfaction across
Teleperformance’s client base.
BackWeb
Names COO [Top]
BackWeb announced the appointment of Gwen
Spertell, formerly the company's senior VP, to
COO. Spertell is responsible for further
enhancing and expanding BackWeb's sales,
service, marketing and business development
operations. BackWeb added the new COO to fuel
its market expansion following the company's
launch of its Universal Push initiative.
TeleSpectrum
Elects Fenton R. Talbott Board Chairman [Top]
TeleSpectrum announced that its Board of
Directors has elected Fenton R. Talbott as
Chairman of the Board. Mr. Talbott succeeds
Keith E. Alessi who has resigned as Chairman.
Mr. Talbott, 58, is an operating affiliate at
McCown DeLeeuw & Co.

Harvey Named FirePond Senior VP [Top]
FirePond announced the appointment of Randy
Harvey to Senior VP of Product Development. In
this position, Harvey will lead the planning
and development for the FirePond Application
Suite. He comes to FirePond from Vignette
where he was Vice President of Engineering at
the recently acquired OnDisplay.

Dudich Named VP for Firepond [Top]
FirePond announced the appointment of Michael
Dudich to VP of Human Resources. Dudich will
lead the development and implementation of
FirePond's global human resource initiatives,
including organizational effectiveness,
succession planning, recruitment,
training/development, and compensation
programs. Dudich joins FirePond from Modus
Media International, where he served as the
chief human resources officer.

New Board Member [Top]
eGain announced the appointment of David G.
Brown, Managing Partner, for Oak Hill Venture
Partners to its Board of Directors. Mr. Brown
adds substantial business, finance and
industry expertise. He leads Oak Hill's
Venture Partners capital investment
activities. In this role he has been
responsible in the past two years for 27
investments totaling over $125 Million.

Appoints Kirsten Hamling VP [Top]
TeleTech Holdings announced the appointment of
Kirsten Hamling to VP of Investor Relations
and Corporate Communications. Hamling is
responsible for all of TeleTech's company
communications, including investor, media and
public relations. Hamling was the VP of
investor relations and corporate
communications for EarthLink prior to this
move.

Names David Odell CFO [Top]
Hyperion announced the appointment of David
Odell as CFO and a Corporate VP. He joins
Hyperion from KPMG, with more than fifteen
years of financial experience, including
accounting, risk management, information
technology, and performance measurement.

LivePerson named Francis J. Fitzgerald VP of
Human Resources. This announcement highlights

Recruits Senior Sales Experts [Top]
Swallow Information Systems has appointed two
IT sales and marketing specialists to

have selected Scott Levesque and Charles
Loomos to generate sales for its flagship
product, CHARTER continuum. Levesque joins
from Microdesk of New England and Loomos comes
from Braun/Gillette.

Results Names Officers [Top]
Newgen Results announced the promotions of Sam
Simkin from senior VP and CFO to senior VP and
COO, and Peter Kies from VP of Finance and
Accounting to VP and CFO. In his new role, Mr.
Simkin will have responsibility for Newgen's
daily operations, as well as oversee product
development functions. Mr. Kies will manage
SEC and corporate reporting, company
financing, and human resources.
