and Rogers New CEO [Top]
Peppers and Rogers Group announced the appointment of
Steve Skinner as their new CEO and President on August
28th. Prior to his appointment, Skinner was a partner
in McKinsey & Company’s Atlanta office, where he
was a leader in the firm’s Transportation Practice
and in their Business Accelerator.

Partners With BroadVision [Top]
Integic and BroadVision announced that the companies
have forged an alliance. Integic and BroadVision have
committed an initial combined $500,000 in marketing
and joint development to this partnership. BroadVision
provides the infrastructure for open, dynamic trading
communities and Integic delivers solutions that
initiate the appropriate e-process and fulfills the
transaction.
BackWeb
Provides for Siemens [Top]
Siemens announced that it has selected BackWeb to
provide the Polite push infrastructure for Siemens'
ICN division. Supported by BackWeb's push technology,
Siemens managers can supply its distribution staff
with the latest information, including distribution
releases, product information and price lists. This
information is generated in the VD-Infochannel
headquarters in Munich and is delivered directly to
users' desktops with the help of BackWeb's Polite
Agent and Flash features.
Vignette
Helps Applied Digital [Top]
Vignette announced that Applied Digital Solutions has
selected the Vignette V/5 E-business Application
Platform to produce and manage its corporate Web site
www.adsx.com. ADS chose Vignette because they required
a solution for pulling the disparate sites into one
that would scale with future growth while allowing
each business unit to manage its own content without
technical assistance.
Convergys
and iBasis [Top]
iBasis and Convergys announced that they have signed
an agreement to enhance customer care for iBasis'
VoCore Unified Communications solution. iBasis'
service provider customers will now have the option to
extend the professional support services of Convergys
to their VoCore subscribers. VoCore delivers control
of communications to the service subscribers --
enabling them to choose when, how (phone, pager,
standard PC mail client,) and from whom they will
receive calls and messages.
Firstwave
Contracts with Sage [Top]
Firstwave announced an agreement with Sage U.S.
Holdings. Sage U.S. will offer Firstwave’s calendar
management application under the Sage U.S. brand to
its existing Timeslips customer base. The technology
provided by Firstwave will allow customization of
Timeslips Front Office.
MessageMedia
to Deliver for Wachovia [Top]
MessageMedia announced that it will provide
e-messaging delivery and management services for
Wachovia Bank. The agreement with MessageMedia will
enable Wachovia customers and visitors to Wachovia's
Web site to choose to receive an e-mail newsletter and
e-messaging from the bank.
